The Town of Caledon’s Physician Recruitment and Retention Program provides eligible family medicine physicians with up to $60,000 in financial support to help with costs associated with establishing or relocating a practice in Caledon. In return, participating physicians commit to practising full-time in Caledon for five years.
Who may be eligible?
The program supports:
- Family physicians relocating their practice from outside Peel Region and neighbouring municipalities
- Overseas-trained physicians and international medical graduates
- Recently graduated residents
Eligible physicians must be in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), maintain a minimum patient roster of 1,100 patients, accept and roster new patients, and commit to practising full-time in Caledon for five years.
