Caledon x DMZ Wrap-up

The Town of Caledon’s Economic Development Office marked the successful wrap-up of the Humber River Centre Incubator, powered by DMZ, with a site tour at Silotech, a Caledon-based company demonstrating how local innovation can scale. The incubator supported founders through mentorship, advisory services, peer learning, and access to networks designed to strengthen business models and accelerate growth.

As part of the wrap-up, the Town welcomed members of Senior Leadership to the Humber River Centre to see how the Town's partnership and commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation are being supported. Several founders from the incubator cohort had the opportunity to pitch their businesses, sharing key insights and learnings gained through the program. These presentations highlighted how targeted support has helped founders refine their value propositions, strengthen operations, and prepare for the next stage of growth.

The visit also included an update from the Economic Development team on current initiatives, investment activity, and business support services, along with a look ahead to priorities for 2026. Together, the tour, founder pitches, and leadership engagement reinforced Caledon’s commitment to building a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem and supporting long-term economic growth.
