6ixty Wings recently opened their doors in Caledon bringing a wide variety of wings and other tasty comfort food favourites. We asked co-owner Noreen to tell us a little about the business.
Tell us about your business.
“6ixty Wings”, the name defines it all, with 60 distinctive flavours of wings and exceptional customer service. Our mission is to provide each customer a great comfort and flavourful food experience. A true wing lover’s experience.
Our location in Caledon is the first of the franchise. We opened our doors on Dec/17/22.
We have a great selection of options for meat eaters, vegetarians and even gluten free options.
Along with our 60 flavours of wings we offer various types of fries, burgers, quesadillas, wraps, salads and appetizers. We have an option for everyone!
Our wings are different than others you’ve tasted for sure. The quality of our chicken is supreme. Our products are made fresh to order.
Tell us about you, why did you decide to open your own business?
My husband and I opened this business together. I come from the health care industry, but I have been a foodie my whole life. I love food and trying all kinds of foods from different countries. It was my dream to open either a food truck or restaurant.
My husband is a contractor and has been involved with renovating the franchisers other set of restaurants. They approached him with this opportunity, and he brought it to me in October 2022, and the rest is history.
Why did you decide to locate in Caledon?
Caledon is a very tight knit community they have been so supportive of us so far. There’s not a lot of options in this area, so I think this was much needed and the locals appreciate not having to travel to Orangeville or Brampton for good food options.
What is your favourite thing on the menu and why?
Everything is amazing but my favourite combination is the garlic parm. We offer it in the wings and fries.
What is the best bit of wisdom you have learned along the way?
Owning a restaurant takes a lot of hard work but we are trying our very best to provide excellent and timely service to our customers even when we get overwhelmed. We also know it’s so important to make sure our employees are appreciated every step of the way.
